  Conheça Mato Grosso

The state of Mato Grosso is divided into 4 regions that are: Pantanal, Amazon, Savanna and Araguaia Valley, each with its own peculiarities and unequal beauty, seen by tourists from the most different parts of the planet.

The Pantanal, the largest flooded plain in the world, houses a great quantity of animals mainly birds and fish responsible for great spectacles of nature. The main routes to the Pantanal are Poconé, Santo Antonio, Cáceres. The Mantega Inn is the ideal option for those who desire to stay in this scenery for a few days. Receptive Agencies offer leisure day trips leaving Várzea Grande in the morning and returning in the end of the afternoon.

The Amazon is one of the greatest temples of biodiversity of the planet, a dense forest formed by several species of the Brazilian fauna and fascinating waterfalls. The best accesses to the Amazon are through the districts of Alta Floresta, Aripuanã and Feliz Natal .
The distance between Cuiabá and the entrance to the Amazon is about 600 km. We suggest that the trip should be made by plane.

The Araguaia region is formed by the Araguaia River that makes a beautiful group of river beaches. The sunset, the river banks and the fauna and flora are unforgettable beauties .

The Savanna is an outside museum, one of the most diversified and rich medicinal archives of the world with more than 10.000 botanic species. Limpid springs, thermal springs, caves, river caves and waterfalls offer magnificent scenery .
The Chapada dos Guimarães National Park, that is only 80 km from Cuiabá, is the ideal place for those who want to know this important ecosystem.
